Bereits im Jahre 1631 trank der Schwedenkönig Gustav Adolf ein besonders gutes und kräftig gebrautes Bier, das Krostitz in Sachsen berühmt gemacht hat.

Schwedenquell Pils wird streng nach dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot gebraut.
